Closing of the Trench
The McKnight Centennial Trench was decommissioned on November 12 2022
On November 10, 2022, the McKnight Trench was officially decommissioned and a final candlelight vigil was held in the trench. Although the trench may be gone, our commitment to learning, remembering, and honouring those who fought for our safety remains unwavering. This legacy will give you an insight into what the project brought to the community.
